According to Director
of Operations, Chef Leo Velazquez, “At CATCH 22, our seafood is prepared with
the culinary influence from the Gulf Coast, Mediterranean and Asia. That is
what makes us different from other seafood restaurants in town.”
“I grew up along
the coastal waters and worked in the food industry in Miami, Brazil, Sri Lanka
and West Indies. And that is where my inspiration for this new restaurant comes
from. We use only the best fresh fish and seafood such as Tilefish, Salmon
Belly, Cod, Cobia and North Atlantic Halibut, plus other locally grown
produce.”
Featuring over 40 food items on their menu, including their signature dishes; Smoked Fish Dip, Po Boy with Prawn & Fish,
Wood Grill Fish or Prawns, Pannacotta and Vietnamese Coffee Tart.
He added: “I
believe that the majority of people in KK will appreciate the variety of food
that we serve not only in CATCH 22, but also at our other restaurants. Most of
the time people are apprehensive to new food because they have nothing else to
compare it to. And we would like to encourage those who are not very adventurous
with new food to try any of our restaurants at least once.”
But Think Thank isn't about to stop yet as they will be opening another two new restaurants; LVE, a bistro serving comfort food and Dos
Mundos, a fine dining
establishment service Latin and Asian influenced food.
